Minister’s Ministry (Ministry of the Word of God)
The mission of God’s Way Christian Church and Ministries (G.W.C.C.M.) Minster’s Ministry's is to draw individuals to salvation through Jesus Christ, while providing spiritual, physical, and economic assistance to individuals and to strengthen families by praying for them and with them, and supporting the weak.

Our Minister’s Ministry who holds prayer services, preaches to people in church, leads worship services on Sundays and on holy days, teaches religion classes, and meets with those seeking personal or spiritual direction.

Deacons Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. Deacon Ministry (Acts 6:1-6) supports the Pastor and assist in the spiritual ministering of the congregation. The Deacon is an Ordained Officer of the Church and is responsible for assisting with the Ordinances of the Church; Baptism, The Lords Supper and ministering to the needs of the Widows of the Church, visiting the sick and shut-in, and attending to whatever the Pastor or Church needs are.

Deaconess Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. mission of the Deaconess Ministry is to assist the Pastor by working with the Deacons in ministering to the needs of the overall congregation - specifically to women, children, elderly, and those in distress - with loving kindness and sympathy.
Our mission is to visit and commune the sick and help as needed, prepare female candidates for baptism, participate in church ministries and diligently study God’s Word.
Christian Education Ministry
The mission of G.W.C.C.M. Christian Education Ministry is to provide Biblical training which enables individuals to know God's love, to become Christian examples, and to love others as God loves them. We strive to ensure that all teaching ministries within the church complement one another for the work of the ministry and the edifying of the body of Christ.
This Ministry will enhance the spiritual growth of each believer through the regular study of God's Word as well as lead people to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
We invite all those who are new in Christ, those that are new to our Ministries and to all who have the desire to serve in ministry, and to hear God’s word and to gain a better understanding of our faith and the truths in Jesus Christ.

Prayer Ministry
At G.W.C.C.M., we believe in the power of Prayer! We believe that God responds to his people when they come to him by faith and ask according to his will and in the authority of the name of his Son, Jesus. We intercede on behalf of all those who will give their life to Christ, for the power of the Gospel to proceed through the preaching of God’s Word, and for purity and wholeness in the lives of God’s people. We also take this time to pray for our church, our city, and our country along with our elected officials and leaders.

Music Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. Music Ministry loves to spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ through scripturally-based sacred music (i.e. hymns, anthems, spirituals, gospels, etc.). This ministry also strives to expose the congregation to a broad base of music through sing-along with the Worship Team to include the Praise Team and Choir, and to encourage potential musicians by developing skills and encouraging talents.
The purpose of the Music Ministry is to help the congregation share the Gospel of Jesus through song and encourage believers in the Christian Walk. This Ministry allows individuals to spread the word by using their musical talents to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm (Psalm 98:4–5).

Dance Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. Dance Ministry's primary focus is to bring the church into the presence of God during the worship experience. Not only will the dance ministry usher the congregation into the presence of God, but it should, through the Holy Spirit, elevate the level of praise and worship transforming lives for the cause of Christ. You need not be an accomplished dancer just a desire to serve and praise God through the art of dance.
Psalm 149:3-4. "Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation."

Bereavement Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. Bereavement Ministry renders support and services for those persons who have experienced a death of a loved one. Our mission is to meet the needs in such a way that the individual/family weathers their crisis and comes out stronger with the support and encouragement of the saints and, in the case of loss, to help those left behind to mourn and remember their loved one in a positive way as they work through the healing process through prayer and sitting with various family members.
Sick and Shut-in Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. Sick and Shut-in Ministry visits members and families that are sick, shut-in, hospitalized, in hospice care or other facilities to provide them with Holy Communion, prayer, and fellowship. The ministry also provides prayer and Scripture reading to members that are in hospice care, along with their families.

Usher’s and Nurse’s Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. Usher’s and Nurse’s Ministry mission is to serve the church whenever there is a service or program. The nurses assist the congregation in medical situations, but do not dispense medicine.
Ushers at G.W.C.C.M are responsible for making members of the congregation and visitors feel comfortable; and more importantly assist the Pastor in providing spiritual dignity to the worship service. Ushers help set the tone in preparation for the worship service, as well as maintain the smooth operation throughout the service. "Let all things be done decently and in order" (1 Corinthians 14:40).
All Usher Ministries attend and serve at other Churches when our Pastor has outgoing engagements and they serve during Funeral Services at G.W.C.C.M.

Hospitality/Communications Ministry
G.W.C.C.M Hospitality Ministry/ Communications Ministry provides cheerful service to our Pastor, Members and Guest. We strive to be loving, helpful and friendly with a warm Christian welcome to our family and our visitors.
This Ministry also serves as Doorkeepers at special events and are there to support other Ministries. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it" (Hebrews 13:2). This Ministry serve with the strength that Christ provides, and offer the kind of hospitality that displays his love.
Culinary Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. provide meals and other food for events held at the church.
When people think of a church ministry the kitchen may not be the first ministry that comes to mind. However, for some services G.W.C.C.M will provide a meal between services. Fellowship that results in eating together in between and after services is an important part of how we fellowship together.

Senior Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. Senior Ministry Younger at Heart is an integral part of our vibrant congregation the senior adults lead in many areas of church teaching, worship and fellowship. Wisdom, gentleness, stability, and faithfulness are characteristics. Under the leadership of our Senior Adult Ministry Team, our seniors seek to elevate both the responsibilities of senior adults to their congregation as well as the congregation’s responsibilities to the senior adult.
We are committed to helping senior adults “press on” in Christ likeness by being devoted to Christ, demonstrating His love and duplicating Christ's life in the life of others.
Younger at Heart is a 55 and older ministry that exists to glorify God and live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the lives of our seniors. We are a vibrant, worshiping, fun-loving ministry, and we believe that God continues to renew our spirits day by day through the power that is already at work in us.

Marriage/Singles Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. Marriage Ministry is to teach that the marriages of believers are to illustrate the loving relationship of Christ and His church, with the husband loving his wife as Christ loves the church and the wife responding to her husband’s loving leadership as the church responds to Christ (Eph. 5:18–33). Couples will learn how to prepare for a God-honoring and biblical marriage.
For couples wishing to be married at G.W.C.C.M. it will be required that they meet with the pastor who will perform their ceremony in order to discuss their readiness for marriage. We believe about the union between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:21–24; Matthew 19:4–6; Mark 10:6–9).
G.W.C.C.M Singles Ministry is to help Christian single adults grow in their spiritual, social, and personal lives and to minister to the needs of all singles. The model for the Singles Ministry is to empower a group of like-minded individuals so that they can develop as vibrant singles and foster relationships between singles.
Our goal is to empower singles to help them grow both in Christ and personally, learn to deal with life's downsides, break any negative behaviors and patterns that prevent whole and healthy living, and to learn how to live the best lives as singles that they can. We will glorify God in all we do.

Men’s Ministry
Men's Ministry at G.W.C.C.M. is the active pursuit of connecting men to God, His Word, and other men for the purpose of winning, growing, training God's man in Christ, and to help men live godly lives through biblical truth, discipleship, and accountability. Iron sharpeneth iron; so, a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend (Proverbs 27:17).
This Ministry promotes and encourages all men of G.W.C.C.M. to obtain and maintain a leadership role in the church, the family, and the community according to the Word and spirit of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Women’s Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. Women’s Ministry teaches women to build a personal relationship with God through prayer and the reading of God's word through the study and application of Scripture, to deepen the relationships with other women for fellowship and accountability women to grow in their faith, to serve the Lord together in our church and community, and to reach others with the Gospel.
This ministry strives to stimulate and motivate women to use their gifts, skills and resources to be of service to the church, community and family. Also, this Ministry works with the pastor and other ministries of the Church to maintain a bible-based ministry that provides a safe nurturing environment conducive for spiritual growth.
Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Young Adult Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. Young Adult Ministry provides spiritual and practical training, and support to singles through spiritual nourishment, healthy Christian relationships, evangelism and Christian fellowship.
Our goal for the Young Adult Ministry is to equip them with the Word of God and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Youth and Children’s Ministry
G.W.C.C.M Children’s Ministry equips children to know Christ, grow in Christ, and show Christ’s love. We envision a child with a heart for the Lord. Our core values are helping children glorify God and grow to their full potential in Christ by partnering with their parents by:

Evangelism Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. seek to fulfill our mission as followers of Christ to share His message of hope and love, leading others to a life-changing personal relationship with Him in the world through evangelism by sharing the good news of the Gospel message and leading people into maturity through the teaching of GOD’S Word and discipleship and into a personal relationship with GOD.
We are a ministry that provides tracts along with a clear presentation of the Gospel in area neighborhoods. Our ministry is a support network for local Churches in the community. Christ calls us to share His promise of eternal love in and outside the church, so that others can do the same.

Missionary Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. Missionary Ministry is to further the cause of Christ by meeting personal, emotional and spiritual needs. All Christians have the responsibility for sharing the Good News of the Gospel and for being involved in meeting the needs of others. To this end, this ministry is responsible for leading the church in channeling missions’ information and stimulating personal concern for the spread of the gospel.

Outreach/Helping Up Ministry
G.W.C.C.W. Outreach Ministry is focused on implementing Jesus' mandate to spread the gospel around the world by providing spiritual, physical, and economic assistance to those in need. We oversee services and programs that provide a physical witness of Christian love to all ages, generations, and cultures.
We love sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with any and everyone. We go on mission so that God may be glorified and the worship of our perfect creator may be increased through salvation. We follow Acts 1:8 …” you will tell everyone about me in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and everywhere in the world.” in carrying out our missions. People need to hear the gospel, and God has granted us the privilege of bringing it to them.
At G.W.C.C.W. we go outside of the church building into the hedges and the highways to persuade, compel, and win people to Christ connecting with our community in any way possible in order that our community will come to know Jesus Christ. Trustee Ministry
The Trustee Ministry at G.W.C.C.M works closely works with our Senior Pastor concentrating on the development of the core ministries through which our church fulfills its mission. Working with Pastor the Trustee Ministry has the general responsibility for the custody, maintenance, operation and intelligent use of all the temporalities and property, real or personal, belonging to the Church corporation and revenues therefrom in accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws of the Church, and is subject of laws of the State of Maryland.
The Trustee Ministry depends on our awesome God to provide guidance in decisions that need to be made regarding the operations of our church, keeping our members informed on all fiscal and related matters.
Finance Ministry
G.W.C.C.M. Finance Ministry oversees the finances and stewardship; to include tracking God’s congregation's budget and finances of God’s Church. This team of people is responsible for the management and responsible stewardship of church financial resources.
The Finance Ministry under the oversight of the Pastor has the responsibility to conduct the daily business of the church with a spiritual focus and an environment of trust. The Trustees are charged with the responsibility to financially count, account, record, and bank the contributions from the membership.
The Finance Ministry is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the church property and building; the acquisition of needed equipment, furniture, supplies, and services. Also, for the securing of bank notes and insurance, preparing financial reports, bill payment, preparing an annual budget, and maintaining tax and personnel records for salaried or paid persons on the church staff.
